Global cooling is here: Can we believe?
Prediction, analysis, scrutiny, investigation, what we may call it, the nature is the king, and that we cannot change. All activities on the planet Earth is minuscule compare to the unknown colossal activities going on in our solar system in particular and the universe in general. Temperature rise or fall probably depends on the behavior of all the celestial bodies that are linked with this planet in some way. Our knowledge has increased through evolved technologies; however, those are not sufficient to make definite assessment. Based on the statistics and data one might predict the future course of the nature, but that, in no way, can be the last word.
The term ‘global warming’ has set in the minds of people by the incessant publication of news containing this term. All sorts of consequences have been forecasted, of which some are horrible. Are not these forecasts make people confused, since people take scientists’ words as truth?
Now, looking at the worldwide cold waves, the term ‘global cooling’ is in front of us. Which one should we believe?
According to the eminent Indian theoretical geophysicist Janardan Negi, the world would see the prominence of coolness by the year 2030. He has come to this conclusion by checking data of last four hundred years or so. The cooling cycle is 70 to 80 years that he says in his talking to the media.
This year, the winter is more than severe in many parts of the globe, which corroborates Negi’s readings on the subject matter. The question remains, whether the world is really cooling or warming, as he says that the strong global cyclic phenomenon is independent of green house gas emission. Can’t we think that we cannot dent the supremacy of the nature by our irresponsible acts? Of course, we have to leave the nature the way it is. For that, we have to stop destroying trees, mountain, rivers, lakes, and the leave the rest on the nature. After that whatever comes in our way, it is the gift of the nature to us.
The Sun, the Moon, other planets, and even the heavenly bodies outside of our solar system influence this only known inhabited planet in a way that is not completely known. Therefore, too much contradictory news only baffles us; rather give us a chance for taking corrective measures.
